College Republican Murdered in Brown University Shooting

A still unknown gunman opened fire on a Brown University campus on December 13, 2025, killing 2 students and wounding 9 others. The shooter entered the classroom and opened fire, using a 9mm handgun. The victims were identified as Ella Cook, 19, Vice President of the College Republicans on the Brown campus, and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov,18, an Uzbekistan student.

As of right now, there are now two people of interest authorities are searching for, one who was seen in proximity with the suspect. One person of interest, Mustapha Kharbouch, had a now deleted report in which he called for “sustained confrontation,” specifically for Israel supporters. We could not confirm Ella’s stance on Israel, but her profile strongly suggests she did.
