An attack on a UK Airbase that also hosts American forces was stopped by British authorities. Five Islamist men were arrested and promptly released on bail. Now, the U.S. and the UK are claiming Iran is behind the attacks. Given Iran’s promise to attack British airbases, it is no surprise such a deduction was made. United Kingdom Prime Minister Andy Burnham told the BBC that the government believes Iran had a part in whatever plan the five men wanted to execute at the RAF Fairford air base.
