Although Republicans think El-Sayed will be defeated in November I find this DSA trend solidly entrenched within the walls of the Democrat Party to be beyond alarming. It is no longer an aberration.

El-Sayed’s victory is an exceptionally narrow one, but the Squad, Mamdani, Bernie Sanders, Hasan Piker and their fellow travelers will be feeling vindicated and doubtless have already popped the champagne corks.
In Michigan Trump defeated Harris by only 1.4% and Slotkin defeated Rogers by a mere .3% of the vote in 2024 so Michigan is still a swing state. A minor amount of voter fraud could ensure a DSA victory there in November.
Sickeningly, the drumbeat against Israel is getting louder. Bizarrely, all candidates on the Left have to do to receive applause is to say they won’t take any money from AIPAC. If they follow that by saying Israel is committing genocide in Gaza the applause turns into a standing ovation.
