It does not matter who is asking the question or the fact that it has nothing to do with race; if they can’t answer it, they have no choice but to resort to insults. This is why Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott accused a reporter of being racist after he questioned why his taxpayer-funded SUV cost $163,495.
You don’t need to be a car enthusiast to know that the average cost of an SUV is nowhere near that price. This is why it’s more than sensible to ask why so much funds were spent on a car.
