The progressive activists who recruited Maine Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner to challenge Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) are admitting that their vetting process failed to uncover some of the controversies that have since engulfed his campaign, including a tattoo linked to Nazi imagery.
