UPDATE: The individual shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement following a brief chase on Sunday was an illegal alien from Venezuela facing final removal orders, according to reports. The man, who was shot in the torso, is now in stable condition.
Despite the fact that ICE was acting lawfully in performance of its duties, Democrat officials rushed to blame ICE for the incident, resulting in riots that forced Texas state troopers to respond.
Police deployed teargas to keep the protesters at bay, Fox News reported.
Law enforcement was preparing for the violence to spread to other blue-run Texas cities, including Dallas.
